Hey guys - I'm looking to pick up an attachment for the BT. It'll fit on a 48*48 pallet, and is about 200lbs.

It's near 44663 (Ohio), going to 98230 (WA).  I've checked a few places, and have got OUTRAGEOUS rates of 650-750$!!  The part is only $125.  Not going to happen!

Anyone have any ideas?  Anyone planning a trip across the country?  ;)

Try calling freightquote.com at 800-323-5441.  They have always done a pretty good job saving on shipping.  They are a broker and look for the lowest price.  Den

Thanks!  Got a few rates - and by changing a few things here and there, got it down to a bit over 200.  The real clincher was not doing residential p/u.

The guy is now going to take the unit apart, and see if he can get it into two smaller boxes that UPS will accept, and see how that works!

If using UPS he needs to keep the box under 70lbs each otherwise they charge you a lot of extra charges. Sent some parts to a guy a couple months ago. Figured out how to get it to weigh 69lbs and some change.
Can't fix stupid

Thanks - I'll pass that along to him!

I was playing with different weights and sizes using the online estimator, but I only went down to 70 lbs even!  I'll try it again at 69.

I recently shipped some parts and the USPS was cheaper.
