I need to remove fuel pump on my d21. To turn engine for timing he have other way than remove starter and turning flywheel with prybar? I Have no space to turn by the crankshaft nut.

I can usually turn them over backwards with the fan, just push on the belts while pulling the fan carefully.

Should be a hole under the clutch housing to get a stout screwdriver in there to get on the flywheel teeth, thats the best way ,

Make sure you tie throttle in wide open position if you pull the pump off…
It will drop the governor weights if that shaft comes out… learn that the hard way and destroyed a pump, and now I will tie that just for peace of mind…
