Hi, we are missing the metal serial number tag from a starter on a 1954 HD9. The tag is there for the starter switch but not the starter. Hopefully someone can help so we can order new brushes.I just realized we can’t upload photos

The Detroit Diesel 4-71 engine was rather universal and used in 100's if not 1000's of different things as a power source. So I would think using the 4-71 DD would find a starter.
