I worked in a White Dealer long time ago, I'm thinking it is a combine part being a 31- number. Might look on parts books under like 8700, 8900, might be a hyd filter? I don't think it's a perkins oil filter, maybe a V8, like in a 9700. Not much info, but narrows down where you can search lol!

It crosses in NAPA to a 1515 engine oil filter. says that it fits the following:
D19 diesel,D17 diesel SER.3 D14 NF,D14 WF, D15 SER.II wf
D15 SER.2 DIESEL,D15 ser.II nf
D12 SER.I, D10 Ser.II
2-720'S

Gmc,caterpillar
