I decided  and bought a Kubota BX23S yesterday, wife found out today... I figure it'll take her to the weekend to figure out how to dig a 6' deep hole for me :(   !
I tried to buy the MF machine but the sales guy was repairing a chainsaw ! After 20 minutes I left... The Kubota dealer is within long walking distance, cousin to neighbour so I feel good about 'support'.
Hopefully the more I use it, the easier  it'll be to 'thin down the herd' here...

We have a BX23 here we mow with and till the garden. Every so often it'll fall on its face for just a second. It'll lose roughly 500 RPM for a second or two. It's been to the dealer and they thought it was something floating in the tank but couldn't get it to act up so they didn't take the tank out to check. We replaced both filters thinking maybe water and we put a water seperator on the 1000 gallon tank and after 500 or 600 gallons through the seperator still no water. Another tractor mechanic said next time it happens crack the fuel cap to see if that helps. Could be a stopped up vent he thinks.

interesting about the 'stumbling'....gotta member that..
I'd would like to know what tiller to use and happy with it ? Wife's veggie garden really doesn't need  D-15/5' tiller in it(real nice loamy now...) so I 'could' sell off 1 of the D-14s or at least the big, heavy tiller....

When we bought ours they had a deal going where you got 1 implement free and we got a land pride tiller. It's right at 4ft and really works well on that tractor

we work on more and more kubotas every year but thats because there are more of them around i dont know about that model but i think they are a good tractor .      we  had one about two years ago that would loose rpms  finally had to run it about 3 hours to make it do that then it would be ok  we had to replace a injector

Cannot say about new Kubotas but the 20 year and older ones where tough. The engineers have some funny ideas like we have 2 right feet. One of the little hydro static ones had turning brakes right by the go pedal so you needed another right foot to us the brakes for turning.

My 2100 has that setup.  Took me a while to figger out what to do.

1. little square pedal by yer left heel, is difflock.

2.  If you suspect you are gonna need to apply individual brakes, use the cruise control, on the dash, to set speed, so's your foot is freed up, to apply the brake...Wink
