I just removed the centers from the rims and I have 2 different types 1 has raised tabs welded on the rim and the other one is stamped tabs which one is correct? Thanks in advance for your knowledge and guidance!!

this post KEN talks about a couple versions of rims on the 1938... you apparently have a third version on the WELDED bumps.... By 1940 all the bumps were STAMPED into the rim.
Later posts talk about the "4 loop rims" that are aftermarket and can be used to eliminate the CLAMPS and CAM bolts. |
