Dana, congrats on a fine D17. I love the way AC decal-ed the "Series III" in a cursive writing style. I can't read the AC dealership decal. What does it say?  What will be this tractor's function in the VanLoan hay fleet?

I’ve had this one for prolly 10 plus years maybe way more. I used to trim field edges as she has an 82S ..but I now trim with a ditch bank mower behind and hanging off to the right side of my long legged 170G. The 17 and the wf45 and the Oliver 77 pull full and empty hay wagons to and fro…

That is a beautiful machine.

The series 3 I drug home this fall will probably never look like that! Needs lots of parts and love and is kind of low on the priority list right now. Certainly not forgotten about though. Actually, I kind of love this kind of project. Go to a swap meet of auction of some sort and find good parts at reasonable cost. hey those would be great for that 17! Slowly it comes together.

70,853. I had to look it up, most of the fleet has homemade decals with year ser# original price and if purchased from another person a picture of them and where they farmed.
