When I turn the key on the headlights
come on. It is the red wire on the ignition switch that splits. One goes to the
ether injector and one goes somewhere else that is feeding them when I unhooked
it they went out. I figured a mouse might have chewed some wires but can find
no evidence of that. Where would someone look for the problem hate to start
tearing the wiring harness apart |

Theres a wiring diagram in the onwers manual that should help. In my mind it would have to be the light switch or wires have rubbed together

Someone might have carved up your wiring under the dash. The service manual has the wiring diagram.

I finally found the problem. Where the wiring
harness y’s at the rear of the block two wires got together. The insulation had
failed even though it still had the factory wrapping |
