Got another question, I've been running my Dozer for a couple days now knocking over trees, and after an hour or so my hydraulic clutches stop working or only work intermittently? I've cleaned the screens in the sump and checked fluid levels. Any ideas don't really want to break a final.

Need to find the filter in the system other than the screens.  My 7G has a lower sump screen, a side sump pump suction screen and then high pressure side filter.  They all have to be clean for adequate function.  The other problem can encounter is oil heating where it loses viscosity and the pump starts either sucking air through the line walls or losing capacity to thin oil bypass.

lazyts, does this unit run a steering pump as my 7G does?  Main feed/scavenge hydraulic pump on converter on mine feeds a secondary sump to left of operator that feeds the steering/brake pump?

Sorry for the late update been a busy week already,

I managed to locate the correct filters at Napa should be here tomorrow, the SAE 10w continues to be an issue for me. So far Napa and a local oil co are the only ones who carry it and its almost 70$ for a 5gal bucket. I cant believe this is the only options for oil but i guess if that's what it takes to work that's what it takes. Guess ill have to start chasing down leaks next lol thanks for the help guys. When the filters get here i will drain the system, clean everything once again and hope for the best i suppose

On a positive note this thing has gobs of power compared to my brothers d6b lol. so far Im pretty impressed with the results, Will post some pics when i get some more done with it, currently im clearing trees for a 4ac pond im building.

My local MFA has a purple Hytrans grade oil that qualifies for 10W, works very well in my 7G, will try to get the numbers off the barrel.  I buy in 30gal barrels for the savings.
