Are the bearings on the deck special or can I get new ones at like a parts store

I purchased new bearings from the local Simplicity Dealer last year when rebuilding my 48" 700 Series Deck. They work well, and I don't believe they were anything special. The Dealer had them in stock. Water/wet grass and dust/dirt is probably the number one operating concern for these bearings. Good luck

I got more problem with the deck I need the center hub on the mower deck. Hope someone has a good one it is a Simplicity deck which is different than Allis Chalmers

Does this deck have the heavier cast center pulley.
Does it have one or two bolts holding blade on.

It has two bolts that hold blade on . The top has a big self locking nut .It is a Simplicity deck I gave two Allis decks but are different and will not work

Look like this. This is bottom side. We have some of those decks too. I hope you don’t need the arbor shaft for center. If you’re needing the top hub that pulley bolts to. We have had problems with those too. And can help you. Edited by Mikez - 05 Oct 2023 at 7:28am |

That is what i have and the belt pully bolts on that piece.My shaft is bad too but can get that fixed. How much for that piece i live in Southwestern Wisc. Thanks Dave
