Postcards From Nebraska on RFD TV. That was a good show. He had a calmness to his voice that made you stop and think awhile on the topic at hand.

Roger was a special person with great insight into human behavior. We traded stories and parts. He worked for Successful Farming, met him and talked for hours at Louisville. He abhorred antique tractor pulling , said it was akin to animal abuse. He sent us parts he didnt know what they were, we would identify them when we could and sent them back with a copy out of the parts book. He was frustrated at the editing of some of the Postcards... His knowledge of the Norwegian and native american culture was classic. He loved the AC tractors, his knowledge of the workings was sometime more than humorous.  A great american character. 
When told "it's not the money,it's the principle", remember, it's always the money..
