I have a wd45 with coolant leaking past the rear two sleeves. My question is: Is it possible to pull the sleeves out far enough to carefully work new O rings over the top of the sleeve, while leaving the connecting rods attached to the crank? I was told the O rings may be near the bottom of the sleeve and rods, pistons, caps, and shims need to be removed and the sleeve pulled completely out and O ring installed from the bottom. Is this correct? Any info is really appreciated, thanks in advance.

Well, that sure is one way to look at "HELP" and support!
My tractor doesn't understand me.... Can you recommend counseling?

I believe you need to pull it all the way out so you can clean the block to prevent damage to new seals. Also the book calls out to put Vaseline on the seals. I did it to both my engines and they don't leak (knock on wood).
