Looking to buy a NOS or good rebuilt bevel gear box for an allis 916H tractor.
Anyone have one for sale?

You may be able to rebuild yours. Ryan on here just rebuilt his and had a nice pictorial  of the box apart and him rebuilding it step by step. The mainshaft and parts were still available yet...

New shafts, gears,bearings,seals and lube and with care and attention will last forever. Spendy but you'll know what you have.

Did one for a friend last summer, gears bearings and small parts are over $600 from Simplicity. I found a nice set of used gears, basically all the guts on eBay for $140 shipped and purchased the bearings from a simplicity dealer. Gears are expensive and have been for years. Back in the 70’s we had a B-110 and the gears went out, my dad purchased blank gears from Boston gear and bored and broached the holes for the shafts, very cheap!....

YIKES , I didn't pay 1/2 that and got a running B-112 with new deck( which I'll never use...)
