Started pulling this year and learned alot. We have a Wd45 with a d17 motor in it. We have more power than what we can put down now. We can slow it down to idle and still spin out. so we want to gear down this wd 45 to run 15/5/38 and keep ground speed the same or slower than 16/9/28. Needs to say at or under 3mph for the speed limit. Thanks

Toddm, we're in the same boat with ours. We've come up with a 45 diesel rear end that should slow downthe mph but I have'nt researched just how much slower. It will be a winter project. Hopefully someone will post some info on this.

I run a wd45 diesel rear end and 15.5-38 tires. at stock rpms I'm 3 mph or less pulling.
