I want to order a starter for my 720 so I have it ready when I pull the engine to replace it. I saw an earlier topic referencing the replacement using Lester 17332.  I have seen these on a couple of different sites and some are referencing 9 tooth, and others 10.  Which is the correct one to order.  I have heard to test the starter prior to putting engine back in to assure proper alignment.  There is also talk about running two separate wires to a secondary switch.  Are there any other pointers?

Check with these guys and get the correct starter the first time and at a decent price.
https://www.dbelectrical.com/

I have now boughten two starters from them, one a Polaris ATV for the same price the dealer wanted just for the brushes. One for a 6517 simplicity for half the cost including shipping the local dealer wanted.
the simplicity starter is now 6 years old and still working great.
