I have an 06 simplicity prestige that starts and runs fine, until you release the clutch/brake lever. i have replaced the seat switch and the clutch switch with no luck. Has anyone else run across this problem. thanks James

Bin there before...got grey beard now to prove it ! It was on an new A-C rider, but seen it on others.
The 'new' connectors on the seat switches actually have a switch built inside them !! This keps guys from removing or bypassing the official switch..... Without the seat switch, the hidden, internal one will short out the 'safety' when you go to drive the rider. Now I don't know if the other 'saftey' switches are the same but it was a PITA !!! It's really too bad no one supplies proper wiring schematics for them...THAT.. would have saved me days of frustration. Jay |
