hello all, i am new to this forum. my son and i were given a B-112 with a mower deck, has been in a barn the last 15 years. everything seems to turn freely, including the mower deck. It has no spark, i picked up points and condenser to try. if that doesnt work i guess i have to pull the motor out and change the coil? it has the hydro lift and all. it is missing the arm rests and the original owner had installed a car radio in the "hood" over the gas tank. a couple mice have mad it their home over the last few years but all in all a pretty clean tractor.

Welcome to the forum. Tremendous amount of knowledge on this forum (very little from me, tho!) Lots of much smarter guys to help out.
Please post a picture or two if you can. I would also like to get a B-112. I have a B-110 and a 620. Horrible, horrible addiction - ONLY KIDDING!!!! We do like our AC - whether it is farm tractors, or lawn and garden.

I'll guess the mice have destroyed the wiring. Bet the motor is coming out. Wish someone would give me a $500 mower. Congrats, they are fun machines.

Find a picture resizing app or program. I use VSO Image Resizer on my desktop.

They like to build nest up by coil. Blow it out if you can or remove motor and cover to clean and fix. I would remove carb., disassemble and clean Make sure you clean main jet also!

That would be best! It doesn't take long! And Littlemarv pictures are great and that small wire is first one chewed up!

If you pull the engine to clean it take a water hose and wash all the urine out and off it will smell better when you get it started

So with new points and condenser it started up, however I think we have the throttle linkage installed wrong. I need to get a points cover and we also realized it has the wrong gas tank. I need an inline filter and shut off for the gas. Can anyone offer a little asstance with the hydrolics, I can not get the handle to move at all.

Hi Doug Welcome to the Forum. The B-112 is a great garden tractor. I have an HB-112 with 48" deck still going strong. Here is a link to a 10 minute Video I used to adjust the Governor on mine. Good luck Gary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjYVKRv612g Here is a link to a great site with lots of info on Allis / Simplicity Lawn and Garden Tractors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjYVKRv612g |
