Just finished changing all the oil and belts on my Shuttle, everything seems to be good, except now it will not go in Reverse and it wants to move forward when in neutral. The brake band around the planetary pulley seems tight enough when I pull lever into the reverse position. Any help or adjustment advice would be more than welcome. I’m trying to get the plow ready for a snow storm this week.

The brake band seems tight enough when I pull lever. That doesn't seem to make sense. How could the tractor move if the Brake Band is tight? ..................................................................... Farther down in this link is a description on replacing the Belts. https://simpletractors.com/forums/topic/24043-belt-replacement-on-a-shuttle/ Edited by Gary - 13 Dec 2020 at 6:42pm |

Sorry for the confusion. I’m referring to brake band on the transmission. Not the parking brake. |

Solved: (I Hope) The brake band around the planetary pulley needed to be tightened/adjusted in neutral and in reverse. Seems to be moving ok now. I do think I'll need another forward drive pulley brake pad though as it still tends to creep forward when in neutral.
