B rock shaft attachments

   Hello, we are working on our B to add hydraulics to the back and think we have a working pump. We are however lacking pictures and background on what hooks up to what on the back, picture searches don't seem to help as most don't take pictures of the business end. we would sure appreciate any pictures or help you could throw our way. We bought a rock shaft off a C, width looks ok for this and has the handles on both sides but you guys may tell us otherwise. Looking forward to your assistance as always. Would like to do either a three point somehow or a snap couple I guess is goal. Blade for leveling and maybe cultivator or disk. Not sure we would use a plow.

	This is an old single bottom PLOW BEAM that pins to a cross bar under the transmission.. The Cross bar is bolted to the final drive cases. I bought this with the PLOW removed and a BLADE pinned to the beam. Photos show the rock shaft and a couple " extra brackets" that help you attach a plow / disc / etc..There may be a couple different design brackets depending on what your trying to attach. The lift cylinder lays horizontal under the seat and bolts to the seat frame side and pushes BACKWARD to an arm on the rock shaft. Second photo shows the CROSS BAR between the final drive cases that the PLOW BEAM attaches to.

	Here are some pictures of the rockshaft on my C, pre-resto. Sounds very similar to the unit you have. I added the raw steel arm on the RH side to lift my snow plow. Hope they help. Ben

	If your going to make a 3 point hitch, you need to have a heavy angle or box section between the two final drives.. Weld brackets to it to mount 3 point arms. you can buy aftermarket arms at the Farm Store.... Modify your rock shaft to have two lift arms... then make / buy two adjustable arms/ chains to go between the 3pt Lower arms and the rock shaft Lift Arms.

	Thank you for the pictures, because of covid cancelled shows we were having a hard time finding any to look at and use to figure out how to mount the shaft. Some seem to be inside the fenders some outside so maybe doesn't matter as long as anchored well, bottom points appreciated also. Either way will get some pics of where we are at this weekend.

	A "C" rockshaft wiil be wider than a B shaft.. Originally the attachment brackets to the seat/ fender frame were mounted LOW about the center of the seat cushion.. Later the brackets were built with a upward 90 degree and the rockshaft sets about the TOP edge of the seat... Like you said, several version, really dont matter, they all fit........... You sometimes have to add extra " brackets" to the rock shaft for a specific implement.
