Came in today's mail. Guess I'd better blame the lame horse on the mail wagon as the envelope was unopened and my mailman couldn't read it without opening it :>) Bob@allisdowneast
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not sure.

I am frustrated!! Dad called monday evening to tell me that my picture is on the front cover. He lives 1/4 mile from me he is north of the Mason Dixon i am South of it. My mail man tends to get put in anybodys mail box. I once got everyones mail from my house to the end of the route in my box. They are probley throwing darts at it at the post office. I guise if i want to read about me i will have to go to dads. I will wait another day or two.

Yesterday there was a large white envelope in the mail box, I thought for sure it was my Old Allis News, much to my disappointment it was not. Today another large white envelope, yea today was the day mine came.

Finally!!
Great Issue!
Article about a fellow dealer's Grandson with an industrial 6-12.  Wertz Garage now Wertz Power Equipment.  Sam Warner was the owner when I was there.  Mr. Warner to me.  He had found this 6-12 in a hedgerow, bought it, and put it aside.  In fact, at the time he did not know what he had.  I never saw it.
The Grandson took it to Florida and it was the Hit of the Show.  I think there are only two in existance - this being one.  It was on the cover.
Great issue.
Good Luck!

When I got mine, it looked like somebody tried every which way to get it open, but the magazine was in fine shape when I opened it.

Got mine Thursday. Now I have something to read. The lawnmower on the cover makes me think about having to cut grass. LOL...

They are not closly related if at all. My grandfather was William Wertz, he went into the implament in 1910. Sold Ford and Fordson,he passed away in the early 1930's his son inlaw Sam Warner took it over and took on Allis in 1937 he passed away in 1966 and his son inlaw [my father] Fred Dickmyer took it over and we celabrated 100 years last year. currently MF dealer
