This manifold says wc/wd   I think it will work for my series IV D17 I know it does not have the threaded top for the stack but that is not and issue  just need to know if it will work ?

No. The stud holes are smaller on a WD. I think the carb hole is smaller too. It could be made to work but I don't think it is worth the effort.  That one probably doesn't have much life left. A brand new one at your local JD dealer is $165. Other guys on this site probably sell them cheaper.

Yep the exhaust ports look thin and the mating surface is pretty corroded.  They are hard to seal in that shape.

I called Norm at Norms Toys he has one in and I can send my father over to pick it up since they are only about 20 miles from him and have them bring it down when they come to visit next week! I so look forward to getting the studs out.. I will be soaking the suckers in pb blaster every day!!
