The Allis Chalmers V-40 Scout Car
Delivered to Aberdeen Proving Grounds (England) in December 1941 and tested in February 1942, this small carrier proved to be light and quick with speeds up to 40mph reported and powered by a 50hp motorcycle engine. The vehicle was rejected as being too small. Edited by GBACBFan - 15 May 2011 at 6:06pm |
