Today at an Auction in Correctionville, IA. They sold front weight set from a D17.
The 3 weights, mounting brackets & hold down bolts brought $950.00 .
 That's more than 1 of the 3 D17's brought, non-running.

Well it's $200 for the weight bracket and $50 for the J bolts form steiner.
Lat I saw the reproduciton weights from steiner for about $200 each. So there's $850 if you wanted new. Steaner says the weights are NLA now so not sure if they stopped produciton or what happened.

They are not THAT scarce. I will agree that they don't grow on trees but a fair amount change hands every year. I wouldn't have the four on the front of my 45 if I had to pay current market price!

Not that it makes much difference, but I thought that there were 4 weights on that lot. I looked at the ad again, confirmed, there were 4 weights.

Lynn, there may have been 4 weights, I saw 3 when driving thru lot, but didn't walk over to the pile. I'd got some tools the day before, that I was there to pickup.
