Got back a week ago from a week cruise in the western Caribbean. Had to get away from all the cold weather in Tampa since January.

Blee - what island you going to?  Cindy and I loved our trip to Maui last June for our 10th. Be sure to wear some AC and pose for an orange pic!  This was at the black sand beach at a park just west of Hana.  Enjoy your trip!  Mike

WE been back about 3 weeks from a week in Panama. It was HOT. Met with an archelogist who is working on the canal expansion. They found an Allis-Chalmers crusher and were looking for information.  I'll be waiting to for a report on the A-C things that you find in Hawaii.

Just got back from 2 weeks in Barbados a week ago today.
The wife and I along with her sister and her husband have been renting villas
for 2 week stints each year in Jan or Feb since 1986 when I took my first carribean
cruise. Actually, we "slip in" a  cruise every 6 or 7 years to visit different islands where we might want to stay. Now and again my daughter and her husband go with us as well.
I was raised a poor country boy and if anyone had told me when I was a kid I would
be going to an isle in the carribean every year, I would have thought them crazy.
We have to scrimp a little to do it but it is well worth it. You're young too short and old too long. The older I get, the harder it is to get thru the winters; these little "respites"
"help me make it thru"!
