Randaleky and others. My elusive leak turned out to be only a cracked fitting on top of the shuttle clutch pump. The crack allowed a squirt to a spot on the block then dripping into the front pan which was loaded with dirt. Have a lot of oil soaked mud now.LOL A very cheap fix and only required removal of the engine side shield. We heard the leak when one fellow was standing beside the left of the engine while running, and low on ATF making a hissing sound of oil and air. Proof even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while. Randaleky hope your leak will be so simple and inexpensive. Bill Wilson

WilsonIndiana: Glad you were able to resolve - did you have to pull the bottom rock guards/pans to gain access to the shuttle clutch pump?
HD4 and 650 series - nice machines if used within their intended design capacity. Orangeman
