What is the difference between the 3 and 4 bold wide fronts? I found a 4 bolt wide front listed on Facebook, advertised for a WD-45. I'm wondering if it will fit.

3 bolt fronts were weaker inthe attachment and some broke out and used on the WD tractors... the 4 bolt front block were tougher and used on WD45 tractors... and will slip right in on the frame rails.

It must have the bloster to work. Ours always wore out in the hole first, tubing for axle extensions second— have had both 3 and 4 bolts on for extended service( moves 1000# bales daily), not really sure the 4 bolt was any better.

Never seen a 4-bolt bracket work loose causing any damage. Have seen dozens of 3-bolt brackets work loose and damage things beyond a good repair short of welding up a new homemade bracket. If you were using a 3-bolt heavily loaded and never had trouble, you were LUCKY.
