Went over for a lunch today for graduation class - about 30 or so individuals showed up .
Seems they decided DAYLIGHT meeting now as night driving for many is a problem So bunch of Class of 61 and not one walker or chair present so guess most are still moving under own power . Dang them old people who were there sure have aged over the years , lot of white hair and bald heads . Seems a few had replacement parts installed along the journey of life also - but have to say many still viewing the green grass and not the other view of it Did have my one beer with lunch $2.75 for a glass , not bad but the $11.50 hamburger and $2.00 fries with it - still can't get use to meal prices out . Ran into several guys I did hang out with and dang' we ended up talking motorcycles , seems 3 of they have Norton's - but as 2nd bikes . Common problem - have trouble kicking them over to get started . So they have joined the Gold Wing crowd |

Over the last year my HS grad class lost five. Cancers, Heart attacks, strokes. Are but half the class still functioning at a level of health capable to. Most of those that left us were the girls even as several of the guys have passed.
Is no reunions scheduled as no one wants the reminders. |
