Some time back I had a picture or 2 of my 720s. Someone wanted to see them all together. Well, they were all together at the American Thresherman show at Pinckneyille a couple weeks ago. I had the pictures elsewhere but in case you missed them...here they are again. Den
Here is a picture of the 7 side by side Same 7 from the back These 2 are my working 720s The rest of them closer up And all 7 from the back No implements on the 2 working tractors so I did not take a picture from behind. Den |

Very nice! I recently bought my first 620 and so I've been beginning to look at the differences between the models. Since yours are all model 720 do you know why some have the hydraulic ports on the left versus the right and why the grills are three different colors? Did the 720s have these differences or are they just custom changes?

I didn't think they were that hard to find. I see new and used ones online, granted, noone is giving them away. ebay has some, and they pop up on craigslist. They are rarely listed as Allis/Powermax tires though. Usually Cub, Case, etc.

Great pictures, gives me AC envy. I noticed the "Woods" mower, I know it will hook up to my machine, but I am wondering if it will work (horse power, rpm etc) with my 616 which has the original engine set-up. Any thoughts?

The Woods mower is the correct RPMs for an original 616, 620 or 720. It is a 4 foot wide mower and the original belly mower for a 616 was a 5 footer so unless your 616 engine is wore out, horsepower would be good to go. Den

If you find one, make sure it is for "motor speed" PTO or also called 2000 rpm
speed. They make the same basic mower in 540 PTO also. The one in the picture is mine and it is for sale for $500.00. Den |

Den, sorry I'm getting back to you so late, just the way it goes sometimes. Thanks for the information on the PTO, I didn't know about the "Motor Speed" and haven't really had a chance to look into this, at all. I like your mower, but need to look into a few things before I commit to anything. Right now I just don't have the room to store anything and I don't want to leave a thing outside. What year is your mower and about how many hours does it have on the thing.
