Didn't mean to overwhelm you, Shameless.
Better to give the details now of the what n why than to have a whole lot of questions later and I'll still answer them as needed. Short version, make a gallon of sweet tea, with 2 cups brown sugar and 2 tblspns of pure maple syrup and add 12ozs of acv. put a chz cloth on it and set it out of direct sunlight for a week. Pull it on the 7th day pouring it into glass pitchers or jars and refrigerate. Save some for the catalyst on the next round. Use glass and/or SS, not aluminum, for the steeping. Repeat. If you didn't know some of these details, you probably won't have the desired results.

You're very welcome Joe!
One thing though, I think you misinterpreted something somewhere of not to eat the mushroom. The mushroom is edible as per my book. I ate some a few years ago. It's just different with the obvious vinegar flavor. I gave it to my last dog in the past and he ate it right up after sniffing it for a little bit. And he never got sick over it, either. IIRC, it's supposed to help their coat shine and be healthy for them. A thought: Cut this gallon of tea in half to make another gallon if this mixture is too strong to handle if one is a diabetic.

Joe,
Hope you and the wife are on the mend. That medication is what I took for my back last fall and had a heck of a time getting off it. Seems you just cant stop cold turkey. Have to gradually reduce qty and extend the time between doses. Check with your doctor. Regards, Chris

Hey DJ and Shameless!!
Have you all had a chance to make this tea yet? If so, how'd you do and did you like it? I've been out of the loop awhile since I posted the recipe and just now swung back through while I had a little time. Let me know if you have any questions. It's probably best if you can text me and tell me who you are as my phone ID's the call as Spam or Scam, then I'll have your number and I can call you. If you can't text or prefer not to, just call and leave a message or question and I'll call you back asap. I just pulled 8 gallons myself yesterday afternoon. 405-596-2080

Joe, speak with your Hospice contact, between them and Medicare you can get a lift, you’re no help if you’re laid up next to your bride, I know you want to do it all for your Mrs. but please ask for help! |
