That's my dad, what do you need help with? If you give me the serial # I can get the model number.

No kiddin! Thanks for the quick response!

I have the manual, actually, but my unit is missing the lift cylinder and cylinder mounts for the bar and the manual does not show that assembly completely. Its a 440 series Haban...same as what is shown on the 620 above but 60" vs 48" and configured for 540 pto vs 2000rpm.

I did learn from the manual that there are alternate pulley configurations to change the speed to suit the tractor. The spline is replacable as well to match the machine running it.

I would love to get some photos beneath the pulley shield to see the lift cylinder setup. Ideally I could get dimensions for it, as well as for the mounting. Then I can work on it this winter to source and fab the cylinder and mounts in time for spring mowing.

I see a few of these when searching, but all are on green tractors, and I remembered this 620 that got me in the hunt for one in the first place!

Ours is a 444-D( 4 ft with 2000 rpm), it sounds like yours is a 445-AH which is 5 ft 540 rpm and had factory Hyd lift, the 4' models had a cable lift with option of Hyd lift.

Best as I can make out, mine is a 440-C, which I see as a Deere model with 4' bar. Maybe someone changed some things about mine along the way?

If yours is cable lift then I am more curious....I have a long cable and block pulley connected to the bar, which I assumed worked in unison with the hydraulic cylinder. I am very curious as to how the cable lift is setup, as I may not be missing parts at all!
