Big issue for me is that the 'rear end' wasn't designed for them and could be 'stressed out' with the duallies, unlike say the Ford N series that WAS designed to have a wider track.

Probably came from a landscaping company or a company that does the grass on the sides of highways, see a New Holland tractor setup the same around here.
190XT Series III, D17 Series IV, D15 Series II, All Crop 66 and a whole mess of equipment.

I would rather brake something because of dual's than be under one. Them small tractors with loader are a accident waiting to happen.                       MACK

Add says duals were used for stability on aggressive terrain. They actually look like factory optional to me, sitting on a JD dealer. If not, someone did a good job fabricating them.

Customer of our puts "duals" on every tractor he has. This includes a "Simplicity Legacy" tractor and it looks strange indeed. No problems with it however in the several years he's had it. 
A career built on repairing and improving engineering design deficiencies, shortcomings, and failures over 50 years now.

duals aren't an option on the Deere
they were however on the SEATS ST16 garden tractor. needed for the forklift option !!
