While I'd only see him and son Scott a few times a year, working on of several, small fields, he ALWAYS had time for a 'farmer firm' handshake and to tell a few stories ,as I sat in the 'jump ' seat, while going round and round the neighbbour's field , in of course an Allis-Chalmers tractor. I still have some oats he let me glean off that field with my Gleaner A. and few weeks later, as a 'Happy '79th birthday gift, I gave him the Gleaner A. Man, he had a real firm handshake and I will miss him. Jay |

I've known Ron and Scott for years. Going to miss Ron. Condolences to Scott and family. Just had a celebration of life on the farm for his Daughter and Scott's sister who recently passed with ALS.
