A 426 that is straight piped is a beautiful sound. Also the twin turbos and stacks on the 8550 are pretty nice. I love the sound of my 210 pulling tractor at 3,250 rpm.

an awfully sweet sound is a kinze repower 8v-71 purring at 2400 through two watson stainless mufflers--music to the ears.

I like the sound of my 45 with curved chrome straight pipe at start-up with the throttle just open a little and also in a tractor drive with the throttle about half open going up a hill.

I like my 7060 better with the muffler. I bought two over the years with straight pipes. Put a muffler back on pretty quick, didn't sound any better to me just a lot louder. LOL
