Have a neighbor who is willing to part with a D-17 with a single wheel, its a series 4 with P/s. Drove this tractor alot growing up, and ALWAYS hated the single wheel. Can i swap the single for wide without alot of fuss, and, is a single worthwhile in a trade ?

Some think single fronts are GOLD! Pretty sure all 17's have a bolster which you attach whatever front you are using so changing to wide front would only require finding complete wide front to bolt on. That single is bolted on.

The bolster is the same but the output for the steering underneath is different for a single wheel. I sent you a private message.
