1946WP - Just wondered if you knew of a trick to let your Farmhand down slow. With the loader raised, shut off the PTO. You will need to be out of gear as well. Turn the hand lever ahead as if you were going to raise. With the lever still ahead pull it out toward you. The oil runs backward through the valve and runs the pump and PTO backward as well, and the tractor gears make the loader come down slow.

My only AC is a 48 WD with a Freeman loader. I was informed it will be my only tractor until my wife gets her utv. Seems fair.

Some great looking tractors here, guys.  We have just one.  She's worn these colors since she entered the family.  The original owner traded her in, and to probably make her more attractive for re-sale, the A-C dealer repainted her in this scheme.  Not original but we think she looks just fine.     Kip

'59 D14. Owned since 1981. I am the second owner. Cousin bought it new here at local dealer. Restored in '06  but still has to work hard. Installed Char-Lynn power steering when restored. It smells kinda bad right now from putting out hay.JP
