six dollar corn would sure heal a lot of my wounds, too. Not that corn is a big crop for me, but all other crop prices follow it. Sure have noticed farm equipment prices taking a hit lately. Good example, 8070's are still very effective daily users on a modern farm/ranch operation. The price they are bringing now is 5 to 10 grand less than 3 to 5 years ago. Darrel

You could command top market value for that tractor looking like it does, but sadly that'll be nowhere near the cost you have into it. When you go through them like that, they become your own for a very long time, unless someone hires you to do it.

The first offer I had was 25000 and said no ,so a customer was dropping a couple tractors off and ask me what it would take to buy it 30000 was brought up but from him .This a one off tractor built it me .But it makes me think should build some for resale ,but there is only a hand full of people that pay that kind of money .But I dont know if I would be making any money at that price ,all the tractors I have done were for me or a family member you know that is all free work.

Well,this is just me but,I don't fix stuff up to get rid of it.I keep it.I also don't have the time to fix stuff for fun.Seems my time is spent keeping everything in good order.I got WAAAY too many things with engines.

Well started keeping track of hours spent working on it I got to 150 hours and stopped writing down hours.Did not want to know how much I was spending so between 200 and 250 hours ,so at my shop rate of 60 dollars an hour 200 hours is 12000 had 7000 in the sandblasting and painting .Not counting all other parts about 750 in the seat 400 in 4 lights .head work ,injectors,pump ,radiator repairs ,rear tires,radio ,floor mat,so I dont know . Said when I started I was going to spend 10000 went way over that,but is so that is where I am at, it is a very nice tractor but not perfect it will be used on this farm for jobs where it wont get around any trees thanks for your input and god bless.
