question for today, when did allis change the front axle and side pump to the newer style front axle ? were those axles basically used in 1967 and 1968. used truck dealer is trying to sell a 170 that is a one seventy, and saying it is a 1973 model. just trying to get more info. thanks

Happened at s/n 170-7500. Late Fall of 1971.
