My one G pulsates terribly when you accelerate rapidly and if you decelerate rapidly. Not so bad if you go slow. When it does it idling I can hold the governor shaft and it will even out. What I have done-ran off of a good clean gas tank right from tank to carb. No filter.  Took carb apart, boiled it, wired all the passages, checked float and float level and did the blow in the gas inlet to be sure the float was working as should. Played with timing no result. Adjusted idle on carb nothing. Cleaned spark plugs. All new ignition parts last fall. Leaning towards the governor spring adjustment but what I read no need to do that usually. Starts right up no problem. Sometimes it will run great but this is getting to more of a problem. HELP this is my wife's tractor!

Think I got it! I went back to the carb and adjusted the idle way in till it sputtered and turned it back out 1/2 turn. Seems to run fine now. (until tomorrow) I'm really considering firing the idiot wrencher that lives here. Oh well.
