I am in the middle of a engine rebuild on my dads G. Have been able to locate all of the parts needed except the pistons. The machine shop says we need 40 over pistons and rings. if anyone has an outlet for these please let me know. Can find std 10 20 30 60 . Just didn't want to do 60 if we don't have to.

I'd go 60 and be done. It will out last you. Let the next guy worry about it. I wish you well.

I am getting plenty of hits searching online, but I don't know for sure if they're in physically stock everywhere. Try searching for "Continental N62 .040 pistons" since that is the engine that was used in the G.

Out of stock at the moment.  I do know they are on order with several places, one of which said they were 2-3 months out.  Dont know what your timeline is like but if you are going with .040 pistons thats probably what you are lookling at for lead time unless you can find a set sitting around somewhere.
