185 Hyd oil woes

Split 185 because of oil transfer Hyd oil to rear end replaced seals on pto shaft Customer tried to drive home and filled trans again Can power director seals leak and get into rear end???

Yes, both shafts have seals that can allow oil to transfer. If it moves oil from hydraulics to transmission quickly (under 2 hours) when running the upper shaft is the likely cause. You should also replace the 3 metal seal rings while power director is off. Maybe consider taking its PD clutch apart for inspection while it's off.

It overfilled trans in about a couple of hours so I will split again and check out powerdirector clutch
