1984 model, 9.0L 5x2 transmission, Single axle 10' bed.
167,000 miles. Used by local construction company to pull equipment trailer. Ran across this locally for sale. Any opinions on them? 9.0L V8 D160. Seems low HP/Trq output? Looking for something to pull Gooseneck, 16,000 lbs or so. We have lots of hills/small mtns in my area. I'd rather have a DT466 motor but this seems to be a good price and condition. |

9L was known as problematic as a serious truck engine, not bad for farm duty. S series as far as I am concerned the best line IH ever built. Will have common hydraulic brakes, decent for the weight considering.
