To merely tell you wouldn't fit my hardcore, cranky and unpleasant personality but I can give clues to expedite things. 1. it is not human instead a thing or tool. 2. 90% of factory made ones are right handed, I'm left handed. 3. It can be used in the off hand but is awkward and just aint right. 4. It is used to cast but not a fishing pole. 5. Would be a good place to stop for now don't you think? Well ok I'll throw in one more. 6. Two aspects of it can be the sole determining factor in who can or can't use any particular one.

No, no and close enough to say yes on. Congratulations Creston you sir are the grand prize winner. Feel free to collect your grand prize consisting of one (1) cigar at any time and out of any ashtray or street corner in America at your convenience.
It's a compound bow and I was thinking of casting arrows not fishing but no reason not to. Display model and sold as used at a gnarly price. Left handed- very hard to find used with the proper specs, condition was even better than described and it arrived two days ahead of schedule. Oh and had a range rover on it that wasn't in description but I suspected from looking at the pics. All in all I don't think I could have gotten a better fitting one if I'd ordered new and at about 1/3 of the cost. |

DANG!!! I'm in second place AGAIN!!
I guess it's just cause I'm too old and Creston is faster... What kind of tips are you using? I used to LOVE doing it in the spring for carp. I'd stick em and Grampa'd smoke em. DANG they were good. Every once in a while though,,,,,,,,,,,( I THINK the statute of limitations has run out?) I'd nail a NICE walleye or northern. GOOD EATIN!! WHEN's the FISH FRY!?!?!? |

Ted, I heard of a great recipe for smoked carp. You nail the carp to a 2 X 4, smoke it for a week, take it out and eat the 2 X 4! Darrel

Aw C'mon Darrel, it really IS good. Any smoked fish is good. You just have to make sure you get the belly fat off and then smoke the grease out of it. You're left with a nice falling apart filet. Ymmmm

There is a place near Lake Erie that specializes in cheeses, fish and smoked Carp is one of their biggies. After your first visit you learn to take a deep breath before entering but it is good for a chuckle to see the smelly ugly stuff people eat. If you like it great but I don't think I could get close enough to eat it.

Well I will tell you as a kid I have eaten at least my body weight of carp.
My dad was a big bow hunting carp fisherman. That's how I learned to shoot starting at the age of 8. Every weekend we would go to the swamps 'as he put it' and hunt for carp. We ate the carp. It's not to bad really if you clean it right. Fry it hot to get the little bones out, but we always had a stack of sliced bread at the table in case you swallowed one. Bread would catch the bone as you swallowed it. My personal biggest one was 27 lbs. It was fun but had the chit scared out of me more often than not from snakes or step of into a muskrat hole while wading. Always wore hip waders because of snakes. Got hit a few times but never went through the boots. It was a VERY isolated wildlife area with several lakes involved. |

Now there you go Dale!! Smoked gar!
When I was a kid, you would see gar ALL OVER the ice in the winter. NOBODY kept em cause they were too bony. They were the UGLIEST fish because of all those teeth! |
