Guys I hunted high and low in this big flea Mt today looking for anything Allis. I couldn't find 1 item with the AC label on it. Oh well. In 2 weeks we'll be at another 1. I did find a book written by a German ww2 bomber pilot, about his experiences over the Russian front. Looks like it is going to be a real good read. Then I got to talk to the Grandson about a few of my experiences with military M88's. It was fun to remember a few experiences. Dam that's been 47 years ago. Darn memory sure is fuzzy when you get to thinking about stuff that happened that long ago. Where the heck did those 47 years go?

Had to look it up, an M88 is a heavy recovery vehicle, a tank with an a frame and a big winch.  We had M578's which if I remember right were 5 tons with a couple winch's and an a frame, used for pulling other 5 tons and deuce  and a half's and maybe M113 tracks (Armored personal carriers).  It will be 50 years for me come May 1, 2020.
