Looks like I have to pull my injector pump and have it rebuilt.(No fuel pressure)

1. Can anyone suggest a company that knows what they are doing in regards to a rebuild?

2. I know I have to retime the engine, does anyone have any instructions on how to do this? The books I have do not address this.
Thanks in advance

Ted

I have not tinkered any more with it, the manuals I have are in pretty rough shape

It did run for about 10 min,had enough pressure to blow out one of the supply lines.
Then i pulled out the engine shut down lever and was never able to get any fuel pressure back in the system

pull that little cover off where the kill rod is,  it may have popped off inside.  very simple fix, just a rod with a washer on the end that catches the end of a lever.

Some of them pumps will stick after using this ultra clean diesel fuel... I have a Case 500 that the pump will stick in the shut off position.  In those old tractors with the PSB pumps, I dump part of a quart of oil in the tank too.
Check the governor rod where that little side cover is and see if the lever moves FREELY.
Also ma metering valve will get stuck sometimes too down in the pump... and a possible stuck pressure relief valve at the pump area.... Check fuel tank and shut off valves and filters...
