I just picked up a d model grader and looking for any info ser.# D-3493   eng. # 45-5465-G eng. is locked up won't turn over does anyone what engines might fit or if this could be rebuildable

WC, WD, WD45, D-17 should all bolt up...

From your serial # it appears to be 1953

I overhauled our D, Serial number D-4997. The crankshaft is unique to the grader engine. (WD-45 engine).  Mine was cracked severely, but was lucky enough to find a replacement.
