We are overhauling a D-17 Series IV Gas tractor. Is there a rebuild kit for the oil pump? Or can I purchase a rebuilt or New oil pump? If so, where can I order one?

Those pumps are pretty tough. Knock out the roll pin on the top gear. Remove the screws on the bottom plate and make sure the short screw goes back where it came from. Pull out the long shaft and inspect it for wear up near the top. Make sure the relief valve spool is free. Clean it up and throw it back together with a new gasket on the bottom plate. Clean the suction screen by carefully bending the tabs and remove the baffle and reinstall after cleaning.
