this spring I was pulling onto the road and suddenly lost all hydraulics, fluid level was full I pulled the flow divider and couldn't find any blockage there. I pulled the pump cleaned it, took it apart, and did all wear plates and seals as well as needle bearings. now I put it back on the tractor checked fluid is full and I got no hydraulics still. Is there a special way to bleed the air out of the pump im missing? thanks

Are you checking the correct dipstick and are the splines stripped out in the drive gear?

yes both of the dipsticks on the platform are full one with hydraulic fluid the other with a thicker oil. the splines inside the pump were snug with the gears and where it goes to the front engine cover look very good aswell. Is it possable something scheered in the engine front cover where the pumps imput shaft goes?

Oils for both the left (hydraulic) and right (transmission and differential) dipsticks are the same oil....821XL, Permatran, HyGard, HyTran, etc. Did you replace the hyd pump shaft seal ?? Did you use a light grease or 90 wt oil when assembling the hyd pump gears to help them be able to make suction ??

Since you cleaned the flow divider, double check to see if the spool is is not in backwards. I did that on my 200. It only takes a small piece of debris to make the spool stick, but this would only affect the steering an power director. The lift would still work.

I always fill gears and gear cavity with light wheel bearing grease. Dry gears won't suck oil to prime MACK

My 220 has a cap plug on outlet fitting. When my suction hose clamp wasn't as tight as should've been,I could loosen cap plug and it would prime right up.
