Not sure. I'm sure some one on here could tell you. I've heard 10 to 25 percent but not sure what it really is. Just put a set of high crop gears in mine.

7 x 32 is 4.6 to 1 ratio..............5 x 33 is 6.6 to 1 ratio(if those are the correct tooth counts). This is a 30% speed change (not 10 or 15 or 25%).

I assume the Patrol gears are the same as hi-crop at 6.6 to 1 with smaller diameter rear tire.

So we should be able to run 6 mph in 2nd gear on a wc with 16.9-38 tires with the rc gears

How many rpms are u spinning? with that tall of a tire you should be able to run 6mph in first with the WC gears. I've hit 6mph in 1st with 15.5-38s. Also I believe it takes some machining to get the rc ring and pinion to work. I was told they were a bearing short and it was fine for the little rc motor but would hold in a Wc for pulling which is y I went with the high crop ring and pinion.

Yes. Its the same gear ratio but its stronger then the rc ring and pinion because the rc ran a smaller motor then the wc.

if you put rc ring and pinion in take ring gear off rc carrier and put on wc carrier has 4 spider gears instead of two.
