Here it is...an Allis Chalmers model 200 GardenHandler. Extremely "Rare", Series I, non-turbo, western flat-back...lol This started out as a 712 shuttle. It has a 12 hp Kohler that's been slightly upgraded, and I customized the hood and grille. It's refinished with DuPont enamel in Persian #2. The cultivator is operated by a 2-way toggle switch mounted on the dash. The last photo is what it started as...

Looks very nice, I am hoping to built a mini 180 out of a 716 to go with my real 180 someday. How did you find/make the decals?

That is sharp. If I ever had the money, I think making a D21 out of a B112 would be neat too.

Thanks for the compliments. I had the decals made at the local sign shop. I took them the dimensions I needed and an original 200 brochure, and I had them back in a couple of days. I got the remaining decals I needed, from Norm. The cult. is an ATV attachment that is sold through TSC. Thanks again, Eddie

Nice Eddie! How about making a set of suitcase weights for the front? Just for show I take it?

Thanks again, for all the compliments everyone. This 700 series doesn't make it easy to make a replica out of, just because of the big "eyebrow" at the front of the hood. You almost have to have a 720 to accomplish that, and they're not real easy to come by, or afford! Also with the hood being so short, there wasn't room to fit the "Allis Chalmers One-Ninety" in the spacing correctly, so 200 seemed the best bet. I cut the vertical panels out of a spare hood and welded them together to give me a straight edge across the front, and I found some ornamental metal sheeeting at Lowe's to form the 200 style grille with. I painted the chassis and engine solid orange to more replicate the 200. I modified the cultivator by putting the original front wheels off the 712 on it to give it a little more ground clearance. Thanks again for the kind words, and good luck with your projects, Eddie Here's some pics of the transformation...

Aaron, I had the same idea for my B-112. I was going to have decals made for it, and call it a D-2 1/2. LOL!

I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

This may be a dumb question but here it goes anyways, will the garden tractor pull the cultivator? I was wondering if you would have the traction, if it were made to be pulled by an ATV most likely it would have a live axles and 4WD.
Looks very nice. |

Jay...the rears are Dick Cepek giant puller 26x12x12, and the fronts are 4.00x8's. The fronts were a tire and wheel pkg. from Miller Tire in OH., that I got off Ebay...they incl. the hubs and center caps.
Claus...we pulled the cultivator with a 16 hp tractor with turf tires ok...but I haven't had this rig in the dirt yet. If it ever stops raining here, maybe I'll get the chance to find out.
I've had a B110 in the works for a while now, that I'm trying to do the D21 look with. Hopefully, maybe I can have them both at Dale's this year. Thanks again, Eddie
