Did anyone on the site buy (or sell) the G in Fletcher, Ohio on E bay today? It sold for $3057.57 with a front weight but no tools.

Is that what your typical G sells for?

I see some overspray on the front tires but it's a good looking G and I would say the buyer did pretty good. Wonder if the weight is real?

I asked the seller via eBay message if the weight was original. The seller asked me how one would tell.
I offered the opinion that, to the best of my knowledge, aftermarket weights hadn't been around that long so if he had owned the tractor for quite a while it was probably original. I stated that there were aluminum aftermarket weights and then I pointed out some of the differences between the aftermarket cast weights and the stock weight.
I received a reply that the weight appeared to be aluminum.
This dialog took place prior to the end of the auction. I notice that the seller did not note our dialog or the fact that the weight was aluminum.

I believe that is the same G that was on the Tractor House site and was offered up for $2900.
